...and, surprisingly, this one:
While it's certainly true that these were both in the category of "Things that are owned by Warner Communications, Inc.," such commingling of their properties was pretty unusual at that time. I got this card maybe twenty-five years ago and assumed it was part of some unknown set of DC cards until a few years ago when I found the Cool Cat card. I'm still not ruling out the possibility that these were just two different sets issued the same year, but they certainly seem to be part of the same thing. The lettering matches, and the artist here is clearly not accustomed to drawing superheroes (I like the way that Supie looks like Victor Mature). So... that's all I have to add to the puzzle. Anyone else want to chime in?

I always thought it was weird, when Six Flags repurposed the Pac-Man Play Fort into the Looney Tunes Play Fort around 1983-84, they included Cool Cat and Merlin Mouse among the eight or nine featured characters.
I love that Cool Cat card!!! If you want to trade for Henery Hawk, let me know!
Contact the nice folks at Non-Sport Update (an entertainment trading cards publication). Roxanne or Harris Toser might be able to help you!
Good luck,

I've got some of these somewhere - I don't think it was Wonderbread though - maybe a snack cake? After the latest blizzard, I'll try to dig them out.
Do a Google search for "1974 Wonder Bread Trading Cards." A quick scan shows DC superheroes, Disney characters, football players, Harlem Globetrotters, etc.

I recently saw a superman card from this set sell for a few dollars. Does anyone know the value of some of the others? I have about 15 supermans, 12 batmans, a few riddlers, an Elmer Fudd, a cool cat, a daffy duck, and a Lois lane. Any help would be appreciated.
I had the Cool Cat card, right from a bag of fresh Wonder Bread. I recall seeing other character cards in other loafs including Batman, WW and Green Lantern.
Great read thaankyou
